The Fraser Institute annually calculates Tax Freedom Day in order to provide a comprehensive and easily understood indicator of the overall tax burden faced by the average Canadian family.
Objective
The Fraser Institute called upon us to illustrate the day in the year when the average Canadian family has earned enough money to pay Canadian federal, provincial and local/municipal taxes. We designed a current infographic to reflect 2014 calculations to give their users an overview of their findings then allow them to drill down for more detail.
